To evaluate the fit of your current saddle, I begin by learning about the history of the horse and rider. I do a physical assessment, palpation, and watch the horse's movement. I check the integrity of the saddle, take tracings of the horse's back, assess the fit statically, then watch you ride and make recommendations based on my observations. Be prepared to dismount to make any recommended changes and remount to test their efficacy, as I will want to ensure that they are successful. If your saddle is wool-flocked, I will touch up the flocking as needed.

Note: If I conclude that your saddle does not fit, and there is no way to help that with pads or shims, the full fitting fee still applies. Flocking adjustments cannot be made to foam flocked saddles.
